It has been unseasonably warm recently. Today, it was so warm that we sat in our backyard doing some of our homeschooling there. Unfortunately, Charlotte got tonsillitis now. I finished my last dose of antibiotics yesterday and she is starting hers today. Peter took her to the walk-in centre in Soho where I have been going (we can only recommend it). Now we just hope that neither Veronika nor Miriam will get this. Flora and Peter have not shown any real signs of this bizarre illness.

Hausregeln
Es ist in letzter Zeit sehr warm gewesen, so gar nicht wie Februar sonst ist. Wir haben heute draußen zum Lernen und Arbeiten gesessen. Leider ist Charlotte nun auch an einer Mandelentzündung erkrankt. Ich habe gestern meine letzte Dosis der Antibiotika genommen, Peter war heute mit Charlotte im Gesundheitszentrum, wo man hier in England als Ausländer medizinische Hilfe bekommt. Sie bekommt jetzt die gleichen Antibiotika wie ich. Jetzt hoffen wir nur, daß weder Veronika noch Miriam diesen Weg gehen müssen. Flora und Peter scheinen relativ gesund zu sein.

Sorry to read about Charlotte. Pip has spent the last two days on hospital visits, she fell off her bike on Sunday and broke the scaphoid bone in her wrist. Her hand and arm are in a lightweight cast which she will need to wear for the next five weeks, so no swimming lessons. She had just attended the first lesson in our local pool the week before, ah well! The sunshine has been gorgeous albeit a sign that climate change is very real :-( xx
ReplyDeleteOh, poor thing! Is the bike maybe still too big? I hope it will heal fast. Did you ever get my pictures of Flora's maps? Maybe that will cheer her up. Maybe she would like to listen to The Phoenix and the Carpet. Flora is doing this in the afternoons.
DeleteI think it is supposed to get cold and rainy again. New York does not seem to bothered by sunshine. Our ballet classes get canceled constantly due to cold and snow.
