St. John's Fire/Johannifeuer

Today was a wonderful day for having our St. John's Tide fire.  Jonathan had to work late today, but was able to join us at 8:00 p.m.

Heute war das Wetter wunderbar und so konnten wir unser Johannifeuer machen.  Jonathan mußte heute die Nachmittagsschicht machen, aber um 20 Uhr war auch er wieder zu Hause.

There were cherries, cherry tomatoes, Mediterranean potato salad, green bean salad with pine nuts, and cheese cubes.
Es gab Kirschen, Cocktailtomaten, mediterraner Kartoffelsalat, grüner Bohnensalat mit Pinienkernen und Käsewürfel.

Onion-Cheese-Buns
Zwiebelkäsebrötchen

 Watermelon
Wassermelone

 Black currant crème
Johannisbeercrème

Local juice with red currants
Saft aus der Gegend mit roten Johannisbeeren

Burning our Christmas tree
Verbrennen des Weihnachtsbaumes

 Melting the cheese cubes
Schmelzen der Käsewürfel

 Dolls are watching.
Die Puppen gucken zu.

 Jonathan has joined us.
Jonathan ist jetzt auch dabei.

 After sunset
Nach Sonnenuntergang

 Moonrise
Mondaufgang

 Jumping over the fire
Sprung über das Feuer

    1. I am so glad it arrived so quickly. I have had bad luck with packages going to Germany or coming from Germany recently. I am so happy to hear that you are doing better! I read your blog post today, so nice you are blogging again! It was getting quite lonely in the blogging world.
