Gardening/Gärtnern

Well, when you garden, you are never alone.

Ein paar von unseren Mädchen haben angefangen, ihre Beete zu bepflanzen.

I have a lot of pictures of our ballet rehearsal and recital/Peter and the Wolf performance, but have not had a chance to go through them.  My sister came and left again, a friend of ours was ordained to the priesthood and we celebrated his first Mass with him, we visited the Quick Center of the Arts, and now we have Jonathan and Charlotte working on campus again.  Jonathan is actually doing the same math camp this week he did last year.  They had their first meeting yesterday (without the children, they will arrive tomorrow) and did "team-building" exercises.  Miriam spotted Jonathan in a tree with some other "team-members" and thought this was very bizarre.  She was on her way back from her art class. 

So for now, I only have some garden/yard photos.

Ich habe viele Fotos von unserer Ballettgeneralprobe und auch der Vorführung von Peter und dem Wolf, aber ich habe noch keine Möglichkeit gehabt, mir diese Fotos anzusehen.  Meine Schwester war hier und ist wieder abgereist, ein Freund ist zum Priester geweiht worden und wir waren bei seiner ersten Messe und danach in einer Kunstgalerie.  Charlotte und Jonathan arbeiten weiterhin beim College.  Diese Woche ist Jonathan aber ein Helfer bei einem Matheferienlager.  Er hat das auch letztes Jahr gemacht.  Um die neuen Mithelfer kennenzulernen, haben sie Spiele gespielt, bei denen man Jonathan mit anderen jungen Leuten auf einem Baum finden konnte.  Auf jeden Fall hat das Miriam uns berichtet, als sie vom Kunstunterricht zurückgekommen ist.  Sehr eigenartig!  

Im Moment gibt es also Gartenfotos.  

Maybe, before I stop writing here tonight, I should mention that Jonathan was named "Worker of the Week" last week and received a gift certificate for our college bookstore. 

Vielleicht sollte ich hier noch erwähnen, daß Jonathan letzte Woche zum Arbeiter der Woche gewählt worden ist und und einen Geschenkgutschein für den Buchladen hier beim College bekommen hat.
