Kensington Gardens/Kensington Gärten

Today was a wonderful warm day, so all children and I went to the Kensington Gardens to take a walk.  I did take pictures and I am uploading them here.  I still have so many other pictures to put here, but I guess they have to wait.  Yesterday, we went to the V&A again.  Tomorrow, Veronika will have a workshop about Ancient Egypt at the British Museum.

 William Forsyth was gardener here.
William Forsyth war hier Gärtner.

He gave this bush his name.
Nach ihm ist dieser Busch benannt.

Diana Memorial Playground: Flora and Veronika were playing here.  13 years ago, Jonathan, Charlotte, and Miriam did the same :).

  1. What a lovely day! It certainly looked to be quite warm, I think your temperature was slightly warmer than ours here in the North. When do you leave London? Time is Marching on and I am struggling with my health, so not sure if I will manage to get down but I do want to try if I can :-) xx

    1. Yes, it did fill like spring, unlike now. We will leave by the end of April, we have not quite decided yet. We need to find the cheapest way to get to Germany. Yes, I do hope we will be able to meet before we leave. I hope you will be feeling better soon so that we can meet. I twisted my ankle on Monday, but am doing much better today. On Monday, I took some painkillers, something I seldom do. I keep my foot wrapped and the swelling is going down.

  3. Kensington Gardens is a beautiful place :) I love the heron and the swans. Do you know what the round dark bird is called?

    2. Yes, and quite tame, there are even more of them in Regent's Park. I saw that Morgana was also in Kensington Gardens :).
