Our dragons made for a good breakfast:
Die Drachen haben gut zum Frühstück geschmeckt.
The birds were jealous.
Die Vögel waren ganz eifersüchtig.
We spent most of our morning making these adorable clothespins dragons because we happened to have a lot of wooden clothespins, paint, and colored paper.
Wir haben fast den ganzen Morgen mit der Herstellung dieser hübschen Drachen verbracht. Sie bestehen aus Wäscheklammern, ein wenig Farbe und Fotokarton, alles Dinge, die wir hier zu Hause hatten.
St. Michael conquered them all!
Der heilige Michael hat sie alle besiegt.
In the afternoon, we all drove up to Buffalo.
Am Nachmittag sind wir alle nach Buffalo gefahren.
Peter is on his way to a conference and Flora needed
Peter ist jetzt auf dem Wege zu einer Konferenz und Flora brauchte neue
ballet slippers. A stop at Bailey's Slipper Shop provided her with a new pair.
Ballettschuhe, die wir in diesem Laden dann gekauft haben.

ReplyDeleteSame to you! I hope you get to make your bread. That is the only ballet store we have, it has three branches, two in the Buffalo are and one in Rochester. I do not like those big roads with six or more lanes, but I made it! I took a side road which only has three lanes on each side, that is more to my taste, but we got stuck in the Rushhour traffic. It was slow driving.
