Peter and I have been sick with a bad cold/flu. We have been going from bed to grading and back to bed again. Our grades were due last night and I managed to hand them in. Peter asked for an extension to hand his in. All children have pitched in with laundry, cooking, and cleaning-up. Today, Miriam got sick as well. Jonathan has taken Veronika and Flora to Miriam's art teacher today. She was having a Christmas ornament decoration class. This teacher used to be Jonathan's teacher and she was happy to see him. Jonathan decorated one and the girls each two. Here a few pictures from recently.
Peter und ich haben seit einigen Tagen eine starke Erkältung/Grippe. Wir bewegen uns zwischen Bett und Schreibtisch hin und her, da bis gestern abend alle Noten beim College abgegeben sein mußten. Ich habe meine geschafft, Peter darf seine etwas später abgeben, aber er hat ja auch viel mehr. Alle Kinder helfen mit der Wäsche, Kochen und Aufräumen und so klappt das doch ganz gut. Jonathan war heute bei seiner ehemaligen Kunstlehrerin, die einen Bastelnachmittag hatte. Miriam nimmt jetzt bei ihr Kunstunterricht, aber Miriam ist heute auch krank geworden und so sind Jonathan, Veronika und Flora zur Bastelstunde gegangen. Sie haben alle Weihnachtskugeln dekoriert. Hier ein paar Fotos der letzten Tage.

So sorry that you have all been so unwell. Benedict is much better but it looks like Dave is having an MS relapse and I will have to call the hospital tomorrow. Have been taking pictures and then " fell off the wagon!" Will put up a random post at some point :-) x
ReplyDeleteI am going to bed now. I feel much better today, but have not been able to do much. Veronika and Miriam are not doing so great and Charlotte just told me she thought she might be getting it also. I hope the hospital will be able to help Dave. Must be hard to get somebody close to the holidays.

ReplyDeleteI guess all those sick students finally got to us. Charlotte and Jonathan are still healthy. I am feeling better today, but am still not really energetic. Maybe tomorrow?
