Last Year's Simple Gift Ideas/Einfache Geschenkideen vom letzten Jahr

I can't post what gifts we are working on this year, but I can post what we did last year. The older children made funny bookworm bookmarks out of wool felt, the younger ones made wooden Christmas tree ornaments.

  2. Thank you, Dorina. The colors of the felt look a little bit brighter than they were in real life (they were more subdued), but my camera always has trouble with colors.

  3. Thank you for sharing, some useful suggestions for me at this end!!

I'd been wondering what you were making this year... maybe we can have a picture post once the Christmas season is well and truly under way and the recipients will have opened their gifts?!!

  5. San, we are almost finished with our project for this year and I will e-mail you pictures. I don't want to post it here because many of my readers are people in Germany who will receive these gifts. The mail to Germany is extremely slow these days, sometimes up to 2 months for air mail! So I don't know when they will arrive. Posting pictures here would ruin all the fun. I'll also e-mail you the book link. Apparently there are two different books, one to buy and one with a co-author for free. I've only looked at the free one. There are sample pages for the other one at amazon.

  6. Thanks for offering to email the pics and links... gee I thought the post to Rome was slow!! Em always said, that it could take over three weeks for stuff to arrive good job she's laid back. I haven't even organised stuff for her and they've moved her to outside Milan so only the Lord will know when it will arrive!!

Thanks for your loving words on a recent post. I finally got to bed at one thirty and set my alarm to check him again at five!!

    Hugs San xx
