Miriam came home earlier tonight from her work at the bookstore. I had baked pizza with kale from our garden. We ate it outside, and Leo kept us company.
Miriam ist heute abend früher von ihrer Arbeit im Buchladen nach Hause gekommen. Ich habe Pizza mit Grünkohl aus eigenem Anbau gebacken. Die haben wir dann draußen gegessen, während Leo uns Gesellschaft geleistet hat.
Our clematis is blooming profusely.
Unsere Klematis blüht dieses Jahr sehr stark.
Today is "Don't Step on a Bee Day," and we read the picture book (paid link) above.
Heute ist der Tag, an dem man "nicht auf eine Biene treten soll", und daher haben wir ein Bilderbuch über Bienen gelesen. Der deutsche Titel ist Wie Bienen leben: Matilda erzählt.
Our herbs are also doing well.
Unsere Kräuter wachsen auch sehr gut.
Das Bienenbuch ist ja einfach süß. Und toll, was du alles so im Garten machst.
ReplyDeleteEs ist sehr lehrreich aber eben auch süß. Die Mädchen machen die Gartenarbeit. Ich jäte "nur" Unkraut :).
DeleteFein, dass deine Mädchen noch so oft zu Hause sind. Bei uns klappt das leider nicht mehr.

DeleteYour plants are growing so well! How nice it is to eat the vegetables one has grown. The pizza looks very good. I'm impressed with the clematis! It's beautiful! And Leo really is the handsomest cat!
ReplyDeleteYes, even though the winter was so long we are getting a good harvest. The pizza did taste good, and that clematis is climbing up onto the roof! Leo thinks he is very impressive, at least he acts like it.
