We went to a wonderful concert by the Musiktheater Bavaria today. We heard so much German! I forgot to put my memory card into my camera, so only Charlotte could take a picture before the concert began. The singers were all young professionals singing pieces from operas and Broadway.

Wir waren heute bei einem Konzert des Musiktheaters Bavaria. So viel Deutsch haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gehört! Ich habe mal wieder keine Speicherkarte im Fotoapparat gehabt und so hat nur Charlotte bevor Musikbeginn Fotos gemacht. Die Sänger waren alles junge Leute, die Oper und Melodien vom Broadway gesungen haben.

DeleteI think it must be over two years since I have been to a concert? How strange,but without the girls playing their instruments we don't attend as much as we used to. I need to look up some concerts! I know there must be several outdoor ones happening now.
DeleteSame for us, in fact, there were no concerts around here! This concert was the "outcome" of a summer intensive for opera/musical singers, so it was not a "proper" concert, but still really good. Those young people were all semi-professionals and a former opera singer and professor from our college had organized the workshop/seminar and concert. And it was not crowded because it had not been advertised as a public event.
