Gestern (15.

Everybody else also gave it a try, but I guess I did not get a picture of Miriam doing it.

Fabulous photos and she is so blessed to be at a Catholic college and in such a beautiful area 🙂 What will she be studying and apologies if you have already told me, my brain is aging faster than me I reckon!!! Love to you all San and co xx
ReplyDeleteShe is close to Presque Isle, which is really beautiful. She is going for a BFA in Dance (concentration in ballet). We were very impressed with their orientation day for families and students on Thursday. Their cafeteria is also very good. They have a certified gluten-free kitchen and a separate allergy station directly in their dining-hall. The cook there can cook you a separate meal if you need one. That is very rare at American colleges.
DeleteSo pleased that she has the chance to study dance and the colleges management of food allergies is very impressive 😀
DeleteYou would be in heaven in their cafeteria :).
DeleteSan would be in heaven with that dining hall! So impressive!! The school is incredibly lovely. Really!!! The dorm building looks very well cared for and the library is beautiful. Is the campus right on the water? Your beach visit looks like everyone had a fun time. How exciting to see the bald eagle! I've never seen one flying free that I can remember. Do you see that often? I see many ospreys and hawks, but not eagles.
DeleteI'm so glad the school is so wonderful and that you had a good visit!
I think this would be a perfect place for San. The people working there are all very nice and some even introduced themselves to us. I think that is incredible for a dining hall. The dorm buildings are on the older side, but they do keep them up and had lovely door decorations with Charlotte's and her roommate's name on them. They also have a small kitchen on each floor, each floor has laundry facilities, and a lounge. There are several RAs and there is always somebody at the front deks, 24 hours each day. One of the front desk shifts is taken over by one of the Sisters.
DeleteNo, the campus is on a hill, it takes about 20 minutes by car or bus to get to Presque Isle, and about 10 minutes to get to the water. We see bald eagles even here in our county over the Genesee. That is quite unique here.
