Wow. Jonathan looks fabulous up there, and his footwork gets better and better. It looks very good. I'm glad you took the movies. It's so nice to see him dance.

Thanks so much, Dorina! He was disappointed about his first dance. I don't have a good video of it and what I have I did not post. He miscalculated the distances on the stage and had to change his dance spontaneously during the performance, cutting out his favorite part. He was so angry with himself!
DeleteThe egret was funny; the lamppost was in the middle of a huge grocery store parking lot. I don't know why it sat there.

ReplyDeleteDanke, er war sehr enttäuscht über sein erstes Tanzstück (ich habe kein Video davon), weil er einen Sprung nicht ausführen konnte: Die Bühne dort war sehr klein und es war kein Platz dafür und er hat seinen Tanz spontan geändert. Aber das hat niemand von den Zuschauern bemerkt. Ich finde, daß er gut getanzt hat.

DeleteMaybe the egret was taking a rest from traveling :P Jonathan did a good save, even though he felt upset. It's hard when there aren't many performances.
ReplyDeleteThe Genesee River is close by, he probably belongs there. The egret, of course, not Jonathan! I think he danced nicely and this was not an important or big performance, just a taste of ballet for children in the area.
