This little farm, Freightliners City Farm, is great for children that grow up in a big city. We visited February 24.
Dieser kleine Bauerhof mitten in der Großstadt ist eine Bereicherung für Kinder. Wir waren am 24. Februar dort.
Ich weiß nicht, warum sie hier so unzufrieden aussieht. Sie fand den Bauernhof ganz schön und wollte nicht wieder nach Hause.
There were also lots of sheep, rabbits, quail, pheasants, cows, and bees, but I forgot to take pictures.
Es gab auch noch Schafe, Kaninchen, Kühe, Wachteln, Fasane und Bienen, doch habe ich vergessen die zu fotografieren.
Your days are certainly very full! The inner city farm is such a great idea, we take the countryside for granted and forget that for some kids seeing a farm in action is not always a possibility x
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't that neat? So even somebody from London knows where the wool, milk, eggs, etc. come from. I think there are about four farms here, this one is in walking distance. I think all my five children enjoyed this farm: You can tell that they are growing up in the countryside.
DeleteDas ist eine tolle Idee, so ein Bauernhof in der Grossstadt. S. die gerade den Blog zusammen mit mir schaut, meint es müsse einfach sicher sein, dass die Tiere nicht unter ein Auto geraten. Aber es sieht ja sehr gross und weitläufig aus. Flora ist sicher nur konzentriert, damit beschäftigt zuzugucken.
ReplyDeleteNein, die Tiere können nicht unter ein Auto kommen. Es gibt hohe Zäune überall, und der Bauernhof liegt in einer Nebenstraße. Ja, Flora hat eigentlich die ganze Zeit dort gute Laune gehabt. Wahrscheinlich war das nur ein schlechter Moment zum Fotografieren.
