Tuesday/Dienstag
- I have been working on gathering resources for Flora's grade 11.
- We are waiting for her CAT test to arrive. The mail has been quite slow recently. At the end of June, the results need to be at the local school, so she has to complete it fast!
- I have also started writing one of my syllabi for the next semester. I have made textbook changes (again) and have to get used to new materials.
- We will have our ballet performance on Saturday. Veronika will be here for it!
- Tomorrow the oven guy will come: The oven has not been heating very fast recently.
- Ich arbeite an einer Liste von Schulmaterialien, die ich für Flora in der 11. Klasse benutzen will.
- Wir warten auf ihre Testunterlagen (die Post ist sehr langsam), die wir schnell bearbeiten müssen. Ende Juni will die Schulbehörde die Ergebnisse sehen.
- Ich habe auch angefangen, einen der beiden Lehrpläne für Deutsch für nächstes Semester beim College zu schreiben. Ich benutze wieder ein neues Buch, also muß ich alles neu planen.
- Am Samstag hat Flora ihre Ballettaufführung und Veronika wird dann auch hier sein.
- Morgen kommt der "Ofenmann": In der letzten Zeit braucht der Backofen ewig, bevor er warm wird.

DeleteI hope Flora’s CAT test goes well and the oven is repaired, we had trouble with our heating element a few months ago.

I hope so too, especially since the test has not arrived yet! I have a tracking number, and it had made it to the next village, but then it was sent to Rochester and from there to Buffalo! It has been sitting there for over a day now . . . The oven is repaired and now it does not take half an hour for it to reach the desired temperature.

ReplyDeleteIt did arrive, and we did the language part today. I have no idea what went wrong with the way it was sent. I should have driven to the neighboring village to pick it up!
