Celtic Faire/Keltenfest

This weekend was the Celtic Faire at the GCV.  Veronika was scheduled to work at the Confectionary.  We dropped her off behind the scenes before the museum opened and spent half an hour at the Fish Hatchery in Caledonia.

Dieses Wochenende war das Keltenfest im Freilichtmuseum.  Veronika mußte in der Konditorei beim Verkauf arbeiten.  Wir haben sie, bevor das Museum für die Besucher aufgemacht hat, dort abgesetzt und waren eine halbe Stunde bei der ältesten Fischzuchtanlage von New York in Caledonia.

They had a cooper making vessels, and a mother-son duo from the Mohawk tribe making baskets.

Ein Küfer hat verschiedene Gefäße hergestellt und eine Mutter und ihr Sohn der Mohawks haben indianische Körbe hergestellt.

Celebrating 50 years of the museum

Das Museum ist dieses Jahr 50 Jahre alt.

The Celtic Faire was yesterday, and today we had an appreciation dinner for the volunteers in church to thank them for their work.

Das Keltenfest war gestern und heute gab es für alle Helfer in der Kirchengemeinde ein kostenloses Essen als Dankeschön.
