We drove to Hornell early this morning to await the arrival of Big Boy 4014 at 2:00 p.m.

We had plenty of time to walk through Hornell before making our way to the depot.
Wir hatten viel Zeit, durch Hornell zu gehen, bevor wir zum Bahnhof gegangen sind.

Die Gleise waren an den Seiten abgesperrt.
It was a hot day, 91 degrees, and many people had arrived around 10 a.m. to wait in the hot sun until 2:00 p.m. for the train to arrive.
Es war ein sehr heißer Tag, 33 Grad, und viele Leute waren schon um 10.00 Uhr da, um in der heißen Sonne bis 14.00 Uhr auszuharren.

This was a wonderful experience and brought so many people together. We all got a sunburn, but it was worth it.
Es war ein schönes Erlebnis und hat viele Menschen zusammengebracht. Wir haben einen Sonnenbrand bekommen, aber das geht auch wieder vorbei.
