A beautiful Easter in California! I first thought you went back again when I saw the title! My sister bought me a hyacinth, just like my mom would every year. However, Cricket is such a nut and tries to eat the plant that I cannot have one. I do miss coming home after running errands and smelling it's wonderful fragrance in the air.
Ja, kenne ich von den Österreichern, die ja auch viel von den slawischen Sachen übernommen haben. Kolatsch heißt Rad und ist deshalb normalerweise rund und oft mit irgendwas gefüllt, im Gegensatz zum Hefezopf. Aber der Teig ist ähnlich.
Ich weiß gar nicht, ob dieses Brot von Veronika gefüllt war. Ich muß sie mal fragen. Ich wußte nicht, daß das "Rad" bedeutet. Ich kenne Sonnenbrote aus Deutschland, die sind auch rund.
