Lenten Resources/Fastenzeit Ressourcen

I have not posted any of my Lenten resources this year because we left for California right after Ash Wednesday.  Flora and I are using Lacy's Lenten path again, as we did in previous years.  We are also using the A Forty Steps to Easter booklet from Dumb Ox.  During Holy Week, we will use their spice cross kit, and Veronika is making their floral cross.  We are praying the Stations of the Cross in church every Wednesday before Mass.  Fridays are meatless days.  We are giving alms to the Catholic Charities appeal.  And each day we join the Norbertines in their virtual Lenten journey.  We hope to attend a penance service later this month, but it is a bit far from here.  I am in the middle of reading The Seven Pillars of Catholic Spirituality (paid link).  And now San has sent me The Reed of God (paid link) which I just started yesterday.

Hier sind meine diesjährigen Fastenzeit Ressourcen.  Da die Bücher und die täglichen Inspirationen der Norbertiner per Video alle auf Englisch sind, kann ich hier nichts auf Deutsch dazu schreiben.  Ich kann jedoch erwähnen, daß wir mittwochs in der Kirche die Kreuzwegstationen beten und anschließend Messe feiern.  In ein paar Wochen wollen wir auch zu einem Bußgottesdienst fahren, der leider nicht ganz so in der Nähe ist.  Hoffentlich klappt das.  Wir haben auch zwei Fastenzeit Basteleien, die ich hier vorstellen werde, wenn wir sie fertig haben.
