I took this picture right before I had to go and teach German, around 1:00 p.m. It has been snowing again, no end in sight! Peter drove to the airport to pick up Veronika from her overnight flight home from San Diego. She arrives safely, but was quite exhausted. She will be here with us to enjoy her spring break.
Flora, Veronika, another ballet girl, and I drove to ballet. It had not snowed there.
While the girls danced, Veronika and I sat in the bookstore.
Talking of ballet, Charlotte was asked in her company what her pre-show ritual is. Here is her reply:
But around 5:30 p.m., the snow started falling here as well.
And back home, it was all white again.
Und zu Hause war alles weiß.

You need a break from Winter for sure!! Sending many hugs xx
ReplyDeleteWhom are you telling that? :))))
Delete😂😂😂😂. Keep telling yourself that spring is on the way … eventually 🤪❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteBut when????
DeleteI like the little instagram posts from the ballet dancers :) It's such a long winter this year!! We haven't had snow these past few days, but it's cold! Wool coat, two sweaters, mitts and a hat is still needed. The down blanket is still on the bed, and we're still putting the heat on every morning. Monday was a major rain storm (Greg got drenched going to work), but today (Tuesday) was sunny and beautiful, albeit cold!
ReplyDeleteAh, that was from Facebook, I think, but Charlotte said they also had something like that on IG. Yes, we need our winter clothes most of the time. Today school was delayed because of the snow. Some of Peter's students, who do not live in town, could not make it to class because of the snow. Your rain on Monday was a major snow storm here. I walked to the post office this afternoon, and it was quite cold.
DeleteYes, that what I was thinking - our rain, your snow. Spring will be very appreciated! Amazing to me that school was delayed and some of Peter's students couldn't make it!
DeleteI think the snow took everybody by surprise because it came so fast. The snowplows could not keep up.
DeleteAh, of course. Snowstorms can still take us by surprise!
DeleteLike right now . . .
DeleteLOL It has to stop one of these days!
DeleteIt snowed again today while I was airing out our bedding.
DeleteI'm laughing . . well, that's upstate New York for you!
DeleteSo true, we have had graduations in May with snow.
DeleteWahnsinn.
Alles Gute.
DeleteJa, siehe meinen Post für heute :))).
DeleteStimmt.
