Flora pinned and cut her fabric today.
Flora hat heute ihr Muster auf den Stoff geheftet und dann die Stücke ausgeschnitten.
In the evening, we did an experiment to show the presence of the enzyme catalase in pieces of potato and chicken liver (frozen, cooked, room temperature).
Am Abend haben wir dann ein Biologieexperiment gemacht, bei dem wir das Vorhandensein des Enzyms Katalase in Kartoffel- und Leberstücken (gefroren, gekocht und bei Zimmertemperatur) nachgewiesen haben.
That weather warning is horrendous and I’m sorry to read about the leaking roof. Flora is progressing nicely with her skirt and it’s always lovely to read/see what the older kids are doing.

Yes, and I did see people in shorts, though! Peter bought some kind of roof melt pucks you throw onto the roof to melt the ice. We are not sure if they are working, but we need to do something. We are not going for walks right now. There is also a really bad flu at the local school (one village over) going around. I hope we will not get that one! Thanks for your prayers, San. ReplyDeleteWir haben immer einen Jahreszeitentisch, zum dem auch eine Marienstatue und ein Kreuz gehören. Wir benutzen ihn für unser Morgengebet zum Unterrichtsanfang und dann auch für das Angelus um 12 Uhr, das wir immer beten. Er ändert sich jeden Monat und paßt sich dem Rhythmus des Jahres an.
