Cats and Foxes/Katzen und Füchse

While Jonathan is marching in Washington D.C. with fellow students in the March for Life and Western New York is supposed to get up to 17 inches of snow on the weekend, we are watching interesting animals right here in our little corner of London.  Flora is ecstatic because there are cats around and she finds the foxes we see in our backyard (!) fascinating.

 Jumping the fence
Er springt über den Zaun!

Taking a rest on a garden shed roof
Er ruht sich auf dem Dach eines Gartenhäuschens aus.

This one is enjoying the sun.  We had three foxes today.
Dieser hier sonnt sich.  Es gab heute drei Füchse.

    1. We were more than surprised! I just hope the foxes will not be regular visitors in the back yard.

  2. I really love seeing the foxes. They look so pretty. I especially love the photo of the one sitting on the roof. Perhaps it was waiting for Flora to come out and play?

    1. They were pretty and quite the acrobats. Flora would have loved to go out, but you never know if they have rabies or not. Also, two years ago, some of those foxes in Islington (not down here in Camberwell) were very aggressive. They jumped into back yards and attacked small dogs. So I think it is better to watch them from a distance.
