New Bridge/Neue Brücke

During our nature study class today, we went for a walk in Letchworth Park and got a glimpse of the new railroad bridge they are building there.  It is a pretty bridge, I think.  You can read more about the process of building this bridge here.

Today, we also learned about invasive species, such as the Japanese Barberry, and the Kirtland's Warbler, a very rare bird for this area.  It was quite interesting, but so COLD!

  1. We have actually had another dry day! It was grey this morning but the blue skies put in an appearance after lunch. It's nit going to last though and we will be back to usual colder weather by next week. Ah well I am soaking up the sun whilst I can 😀

    1. We had some sunshine today! That was almost a miracle. I hope your temperature change will not be too drastic.
