Tonight our and Jonathan's Thanksgiving break started. Jonathan came home and then drove to the ballet studio to pick up Veronika and Charlotte, who had rehearsal tonight. So I did not have to drive at all because a ballet father had driven the girls there! I have millions of photos from Peter and am trying to organize them a bit. I am planning on having some posts on Martin Luther, some on Johann Sebastian Bach, and some more on saints and German writers. Right now I am grading some German homework, though. I also have to plan our next quarter over these few precious days we have. So we will see how many pictures I get uploaded here. I hope everybody is having a wonderful Thanksgiving week.
Heute abend haben unsere und Jonathans Erntedankfestferien angefangen. Jonathan ist nach Hause gekommen und hat sogar Veronika und Charlotte vom Ballettstudio abgeholt, die beide heute abend Nußknackerprobe hatten. Ein Ballettvater hatte sie hingefahren, so daß ich gar nicht fahren mußte! Ich habe sehr viele Fotos von Peter geschickt bekommen, die ich aber erstmal ein wenig ordnen muß. Ich möchte noch Beiträge zu Martin Luther, Johann Sebastian Bach und weitere Heilige und dann auch Schriftsteller hier schreiben. Im Moment benote ich aber gerade Hausaufgaben der Studenten. Dann muß ich in diesen nächsten wertvollen Tagen auch unser neues Quartal planen. Mal sehen, wie viele Fotos ich dann hier hochgeladen bekomme.
Hello Eva, how nice that you could stay home all day and not be chauffeur! Peter's trip in Europe sounds so wonderful. Have a good day tomorrow :) I must get to sleep now!
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought that was very nice of him, especially since he had already driven for over four hours to get home (in the dark and through the Allegheny Mountains). Tonight I am up too late, trying to get some planning done on the girls' next weeks. I should really go to bed.
