Jonathan had a chemistry exam on Monday and Charlotte a music exam on Tuesday. Now they are ready for Thanksgiving Break, which starts next week. My students also had a big German exam.
Jonathan hatte einen Chemieklausur am Montag und Charlotte eine Musikklausur am Dienstag. Jetzt freuen sie sich auch auf die Collegeferien, die nächste Woche für das amerikanische Erntedankfest sind.
Last night, I went to a Taizé prayer night with Veronika, Miriam, and Flora after I had picked up Veronika and Miriam from their ballet classes. It is always dark now when I pick them up. If I didn't know the way, I would probably get lost. It is a very deserted area I have to drive through to get them. The prayer night was beautiful.
Gestern abend war ich bei einem Taizégebetsabend und habe Veronika, Miriam und Flora mitgenommen. Erst mußte ich Veronika und Miriam aber beim Ballett abholen. Wenn ich nicht den Weg so gut kennen würde, würde ich mich bestimmt verfahren. Die Strecke ist sehr einsam und sehr dunkel. Der Gebetsabend war aber schön.

Yes, the days are so short now, and so many things need to be done but I begin to feel tired when the sun goes down!
One of my students play the piano for it. There are not so many students, maybe 15?, but it is still a wonderful atmosphere and I have always liked Taizé music.
DeleteI will let them know that you like their work. Julius was crazy today, running around like he was possessed. I finally put him out. He does not like the snow, but he cannot act as if he is a car and our house is a race track :).
