Birthday Entry/Geburtstagseintrag

Veronika reminded me today that I still had to post pictures of her birthday . . .

 Hoch soll sie leben . . .

 11 years old
11 Jahre alt

A new dress for her doll
Ein neues Puppenkleid

A new purse from my brother Ulf
Eine neue Handtasche von meinem Bruder Ulf

 Charlotte was almost jealous  :).
Charlotte war fast eifersüchtig :).

 A gift from Grandma and Grandpa . . .
Ein Geschenk von den amerikanischen Großeltern . . .

She had seen this in Grandma's kitchen over the summer and had told Grandna how much she liked it.  Now it is hers!

 Veronika is opening Flora's present.
Veronika macht Floras Geschenk auf.

A headkerchief, which Flora has knitted.
Eine Kopftuch, das Flora gestrickt hat.

She had asked for this coloring book.
Dieses Malbuch hatte sie sich gewünscht.

Jonathan and Charlotte will give her a parasol.
Dieser Gutschein stammt von Jonathan und Charlotte.

Oma and Opa gave her some money to take another bobbin-lacing class!

Miriam made a fancy box for Veronika's stationery.

Trying to find what this is supposed to be
Was ist das wohl?

 ???

Veronika made this cake almost all by herself!
Veronika hat diese Torte fast alleine gebacken!

And her potato mice were made by herself, Miriam, and Flora (with a bit help by me).

  1. Oh, was für schöne Geschenke.

  2. Good morning Eva, What lovely birthday pictures and the gifts are so fun and thoughtful! I'll have to show Morgana and Chanda the picture puzzle and see what they think :) Did Veronika figure it out? The cake looks delicious and the potato mice are sitting on the prettiest plate!

    1. "The Children of the New Forest", ein Buch von Frederick Marryat.

Klasse angefangen. In der 7. habe ich Latein dazugenommen. Beide Fächer habe ich bis zur 13. Klasse gemacht.

  5. Your birthday celbrations are truly the nicest :-) Happy Belated birthday greetings Veronika, your cake and the mice look yummy and I can see why Charlotte would be envious of that purse!! A lovely china jug, some clothes for your doll, a stationary organiser and money toward a lace making class, I call that an absolute win :-)

Love and hugs from madness crew xx

    1. Thanks so much for the compliment, San! I noticed that you made your own version of the mice! Yours turned out beautiful. I think Veronika did have a great day and was happy about all her presents.

Sending you a big hug back, even to the mad people :).
