Fair is Fair/Gerecht ist gerecht

I saw this book recommended somewhere, I think it was in the Fun Books catalog. It contains

30 world folktales of justice about wise judges, clever lawyers, and deceitful tricksters, from places as diverse as ancient Greece, Morocco, Germany, China, and Ireland. Some date back to pre-biblical days while others come from the American colonies.

Jonathan has been reading it and now Charlotte can't put it down.  They both like it a lot.

I found some pictures on Flora's camera, not many, but a few.  I guess I should take some of Veronika's and Miriam's main lesson books.  They have been doing beautiful work recently.

A few days ago: Flora is writing her main lesson book entry for the number 12.

 Today: Flora doing nebulizing treatment.

Tomorrow is Miriam's birthday: She will become a teenager!  Here she is starting on her chocolate hedgehogs for tomorrow.

Christmas package from Germany!  It arrived today.  I showed my students the tea in the afternoon.

Heute angekommen.

Miriam and Veronika showed me the music they will dance to during the ballet recital in May, it is very peaceful.

A friend came by this morning to give us some ballet items her daughter, who is grown by now, does not need anymore.  It was nice to see her again, I had not seen her for a while.

My colleague, who teaches Spanish, placed a sheet of paper on my desk entitled World Language Teacher Affirmation.  It was quite funny, but oh, so true!  He really made me laugh.

    1. Thanks so much, San. Yes, this sickness is just crazy and not fun to go through. Now only Peter and I have not gotten it. I hope it will stay that way. I am truly sick of it (no pun intended here).

I will give Miriam your birthday wishes.

  4. Hello Eva,

Despite the presence of that dreaded illness, your day sounds just lovely: filled with beauty, love, a little bit of Christmas still, and laughter :) Flora's lesson work is beautiful and it's nice to see Jonathan at work on his Science . . and I'll have to check out that book in which Charlotte is so engrossed!

    1. Yes, it was a nice day, just interrupted by some coughing :). Flora is doing much better, but Miriam is feeling much worse today. I am afraid she might have a relapse. We took our tree down today and gave it to the birds. Kind of sad, but now there is more space again.

We finally found a good, but cheap microscope and bought some prepared slides that go with the Apologia biology book. This is a good thing! The book is quite good.

    2. P.S. With the "good book" I mean the justice one.
