Religious Readings/Religiöse Lektüre

I thought I would mention two religious books we have been enjoying on Sundays. The first one is Stories of the Child Jesus from Many Lands and, as the title suggests, has charming legends about the child Jesus from all over the world.  Very sweet and a great read-aloud.  Miriam has started First Communion Days, as part of her First Holy Communion preparation.  You can find a review and sample pages here.  

Ich habe mir gedacht, daß ich zwei Bücher erwähnen sollte, die wir zur Zeit sonntags lesen.  Das erste heißt Stories of the Child Jesus from Many Lands und beinhaltet Legenden aus der ganzen Welt, in denen das Jesuskind die Hauptrolle spielt.  Diese Geschichten sind sehr schön gemacht.  Das andere Buch heißt First Communion Days.  Miriam liest es als Teil ihrer Erstkommunionsvorbereitung.  Man kann eine Rezension und Probeseiten hier finden.
