Wind in the Willows/Wind in den Weiden

Jonathan, Charlotte, and Miriam went to see a play based on the book The Wind in the Willows.  It was done by the Rochester Children's Theatre.  They all really enjoyed the performance.  On their way home from the theater they saw many wild geese.

I've finished most of my planning for Charlotte.  Most subjects are covered by Live Education! Grade 5, but I always add some extra books.  We'll continue with RightStart Mathematics Intermediate Math.  For English we'll use Queen's Language Lessons for the Secondary Child in combination with Easy Grammar Grade 5 and AVKO Sequential Spelling 2 for Home Study Learning.   For science we'll use Shanleya's Quest: A Botany Adventure for Kids Ages 9-99.  We'll also continue our zoology studies.  For history we'll use living books and books by H. A. Guerber.  French will be Basic Structures French: Book 2 plus French Grammar Enhancement - Book 1and L'Art de LIRE.  For Latin we'll continue with Getting Started with Latin: Beginning Latin for Homeschoolers and Self-Taught Students of Any Age.  Music will be recorder, children's harp, alto recorder, Music Masters, and Ready-To-Use Music Activities Kit. We haven't decided on a handwork project, but we'll start woodworking as well.  We'll continue ARTistic Pursuits, 4-6 Book One, The Elements of Art and Composition and Drawing Textbook, add some

art appreciation with Art 5 for Young Catholics, and review 

the exercises in How to Use Child Size Masterpieces.  We'll start Biblical Greek with Hey, Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek!.  We'll try Beautiful Feet's American geography study plus Maps, Charts, Graphs. I'll post our other choices for Charlotte another time.  Have a great weekend!

Jonathan, Charlotte und Miriam haben heute das Buch The Wind in the Willows mit dem Rochester Children's Theatre gesehen.  Es hat ihnen sehr gut gefallen.  Unterwegs haben sie kanadische Wildgänse gesehen.  Für Charlotte habe ich das Wichtigste für nächstes Schuljahr geplant.  Einiges meiner Pläne steht oben, doch werde ich sie hier nicht ins Deutsche übersetzen, da die Buchangaben fast alle englische Bücher sind.  Wer Interesse hat, kann einfach auf den Links oben klicken.  Ein schönes Wochenende wünscht allen
