Happy Birth-Day Flora and Eva 💐🎂💕. Gosh time really has flown it only seems like yesterday when she thought an empty Weleda box was an interesting toy! I have to ask what is Hoch Sie Lieben as it looks like you have to touch the ceiling? Also that green toy behind her is incredibly cute did she make it? It looks like you had a really lovely day and I’m sending you both much love from afar xxx
Thanks so much, San! So true; she is so grown up now. Funny that you remember those boxes! "Hoch soll sie leben" is the beginning of a German song we always sing for the birthday child. It is similar to "For she is a jolly good fellow." You are basically toasting the birthday child and have to lift her or him high into the air three times at the end. Our children always tried to reach the ceiling when Peter lifted them. No, that cute owl is not made by us. I found it in an antique store many years ago. Thanks so much for all your love.

Ja! Damals hat sie ihr "peanut butter" Buch gelesen :). Danke für die Glückwünsche. Ich habe in den letzten Wochen gedacht, daß sie jetzt auch im Gesicht älter aussieht. Wie schnell das doch gegangen ist!
