I do not have pictures from Buffalo, but we made it fine, and a professor from our London program picked us up. Our house was in good shape, just a few signs of mice, but the yard is quite overgrown again. I guess we will be weeding once the rain lets up.
Ich habe keine Fotos von Buffalo, aber wir haben alles gut geschafft. Ein Professor des Londonprogramms hat uns abgeholt. Unser Haus ist in Ordnung, nur ein paar Mäusespuren, doch im Garten wuchert das Unkraut. Da müssen wir viel tun, aber im Moment regnet es zu viel.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, San. It is hard to believe that she is 17 already. No, no pause in traveling until now. We had to go to Harvard for Jonathan's graduation. Now we are home. Pretty soon, Miriam will come home and Flora will have her confirmation. Then Charlotte will come. Jonathan is home for the summer studying for the bar. And we have to do a lot of yard work.
DeleteFlora ist auch schon 17 meine Güte ich kann gar nicht fassen dass die Kinder alle schon groß sind. Ich weiss ich hab das schon mal geschrieben aber ich frage mich wirklich wo die Zeit geblieben ist.

DeleteDas kann doch gar nicht sein, oder? Du liebe Güte, die Zeit verging in der Jugend kaum, da hat alles so lang gedauert, vor allem die Schule und jetzt... genau das Gegenteil.
DeleteDoch, doch, es geht schneller als man denkt, noch 3 Jahre, dann ist es so weit. Eigentlich komisch, man selbst fühlt sich noch gar nicht so alt.
