Last weekend, we had a big family meeting with almost all siblings, spouses, and children. We had a family portrait taken, went out for lunch, and spent two days in Bremervörde.
Letztes Wochenende gab es hier ein großes Familientreffen mit fast allen Geschwistern, Ehepartnern und Kindern. Wir haben ein Familienfoto machen lassen, waren zusammen essen und haben zwei Tage in Bremervörde verbracht.

Most of my time has been spent grading finals for my German 102 course and handing in grades, but I am almost done with that☺!
Die letzten Tage habe ich die Abschlußklausuren meiner Deutschstudenten korrigiert und habe fast alle Abschlußnoten festgelegt, die ich bis Montag einreichen muß. ☺

Das ist wirklich schön, dass sich deine ganze Familie so treffen kann. Geniesst es.
Ja, es gibt viele Parallelen zwischen den beiden Gebieten. Ich habe nicht gewußt, daß Ihr eine Lilith habt :). Die nächsten Tage haben wir Familientreffen im Rheinland, meiner anderen Heimat.
DeleteHello Eva, It looks like all of you are having a wonderful time with the family (so good that you could all be together!) and the food looks delicious; such yellow yolks on the eggs and even several gluten free options. The hedges in the cemetery make it very pretty and garden-like. Miriam does a very good headstand. I hope you are finished now with all your classwork and have no more deadlines. Enjoy the beautiful German countryside :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been so nice to see almost everybody and the people in the hostel had done a marvelous job with the food. Cemeteries are part of people's lives, much more than in the U.S. There are always people visiting graves. I am done with my German class, just Peter has one class he is teaching right now, a summer class.
