Finished!/Fertig!

 

 

I didn't think I would finish them this weekend, but I sewed all the elastics and ribbons on one pair of Capezio slippers, one pair of Bloch slippers, one pair of Sansha slippers, and one pair of Bloch pointe shoes. I think  I now deserve some kind of medal! After all I also cleaned the house, did at least five loads of laundry, brought potatoes and butter to church for a dinner, of course went to Mass, made baked sweet potatoes, baked muffins, and cookies, talked to my parents in Germany on the phone and now I still have to cook the inside of Jonathan's ca. 50 lb pumpkin! I hope your weekend was as productive as ours.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, daß dieses Wochenende alle neuen Ballettschuhe mit Gummibändern und Bändern versehen würden. Ich habe es geschafft, ein Paar Capezio Schläppchen, ein Paar Bloch Schläppchen, ein Paar Sansha Schläppchen und ein Paar Bloch Spitzenschuhe fertig zu bekommen. Dafür verdiene ich eigentlich einen Orden! Habe ich dazu nicht auch noch das Haus geputzt, mindestens fünf Maschinen Wäsche gewaschen, Kartoffeln und Butter zur Kirche für ein Essen gebracht, bin natürlich zur Sonntagsmesse gegangen, habe Süßkartoffeln gebacken, außerdem noch Muffins, Kekse, habe mit meinen Eltern in Deutschland telefoniert, und jetzt muß ich noch das Innenleben von Jonathans großem Kürbis (ca. 23 kg) kochen. Hoffentlich haben alle soviel wie ich geschafft!
