Drive Back/Rückfahrt

On Friday, we arrived early at Jonathan's dorm to help him pack.

Am Freitag waren wir dann früh bei Jonathans Wohnheim, um beim Packen zu helfen.

We drove in two cars: Peter, Veronika, and I went in our minivan, and Flora and Jonathan drove his car.  Here we are approaching the Hudson River.

Wir sind in zwei Autos gefahren: Peter, Veronika und ich sind mit unserem Minivan gefahren und Flora und Jonathan mit seinem Auto.  Hier kommen wir an den Hudson.

No, we did not turn to visit Montreal.

Nein, wir sind nicht abgebogen, um nach Montreal zu fahren.

We got to Hornell around 10:30 p.m. and did some grocery shopping.  We were home shortly before midnight.  On Saturday, Flora had to be in church to help clean it for her upcoming confirmation.  We also emptied the cars and tried to find room for all of Jonathan's things.  And there was a lot of laundry to do.

In Hornell waren wir dann so gegen 22.30 Uhr und haben Lebensmittel eingekauft.  Zu Hause waren wir endlich kurz vor Mitternacht.  Am Samstag mußte Flora früh für eine Putzaktion der Firmlinge in der Kirche sein.  Wir haben auch unser Auto geleert und versucht, einen Platz für Jonathans Sachen zu finden.  Gewaschen haben wir auch schon sehr viel.
