Yesterday, Veronika participated in a textile symposium at the Genesee Country Village and Museum. It was well attended and very interesting.

It's fun to see the fabric used for the children's clothing in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Was that used for the film? Or for a theatre production?
ReplyDeleteYes, that was used for the film. Thistle Hill Weavers have contributed a lot to movies: "Thistle Hill Weavers, a custom mill that has been producing historically accurate reproduction fabrics, trim, and carpet for two decades, has created many fabrics for Hollywood movies including Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Master and Commander, Amistad, The Titanic, Cinderella Man, and The Polar Express, among many others." It was for the 2005 version of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe."
DeleteOh, that's good to know. Their website is very interesting!
