I cleaned up one more shelf containing homeschool books on Saturday. This is our English grammar/vocab/composition and religion shelf. Bibles and church history are on a different shelf. I used to have English in front and religion in the back, but now I decided to have high school English and religion in front and the lower grades of English and religion in the back.
Ich habe noch ein Regal mit Homeschool Büchern am Samstag aufgeräumt. Auf diesem Regal stehen die Bücher für Religion und englische Grammatik/Rechtschreibung/Wortschatz/Aufsatz. Bibeln und Kirchengeschichte haben ein anderes Regal. Als ich das Regal wieder eingeräumt habe, habe ich beschlossen, alle Bücher für die Klassen 9-12 vorne hinzustellen und die anderen in die hintere Reihe. Vorher hatte ich Englisch vorne und Religion hinten.
Flora did her volunteer work at the SPCA and Charlotte baked these yummy treats for Sunday.
Flora hat im Tierheim gearbeitet und Charlotte hat dieses Kaffeetrinken für Sonntag gebacken.
Since St. Valentine's Day falls on Ash Wednesday this year, we will not able to eat anything like this on Wednesday, so we had it today.
Da Valentinstag dieses Jahr auch Aschermittwoch ist, können wir solche Dinge dann nicht essen. Daher haben wir sie heute gegessen.
Peter found blueberries in the store that had some German on it!
Peter hat Blaubeeren gefunden, auf denen eine deutsche Aufschrift war!
We had Mass and potluck today. We also went for a short walk, but it was really cold and grey.
Nach der Kirche gab es heute Essen im Pfarrheim. Jeder hat etwas zum Teilen mitgebracht. Wir sind auch spazieren gegangen, aber es war sehr kalt.
