Outside Blue

Peter had a wonderful time meeting Dorina and her family in New York City while attending a conference there.  He brought back some wonderful cookies and a hot cocoa mix Morgana had made.  They even took him to the airport!  Next time we really all have to go.  A big thank-you from the western part of the state to the eastern part.

  1. Those cookies look good and I bet the hot chocolate is a welcome treat on a cold autumn/winter day.

    1. The cookies are almost gone, but we still have some hot chocolate mix left. Both are so delicious! And yes, it is cold here, we have snow so the treats are right on target.

    3. I was just thinking about making myself a cup of hot chocolate while waiting for Peter's call. And I do need a warm sweater or have to turn up the heat. It is freezing!!

    1. Yes, two years ago Peter met a homeschooling family from Switzerland for the first time. We met on a Italian blog. This past summer we all got to meet them, so nice! We really hope to all go soon to meet Dorina in NYC. It is "only" six hours from us . . .

  3. Hello Eva! So funny to see Outside Bue on your blog! It's always nice to call on our host commitments and take care of a guest in the Big Apple :) and it was a delight to meet Peter. It's a perfect time for cookies and hot chocolate; it's very cold now! I hope all is cozy in your warm home.

    1. Yes, it is cold, there is snow on the ground. Today, after teaching, we drove home because I wasn't really dressed for a winter walk (I was wearing nylons and a skirt for teaching). Thanks again for having Peter.

Vielen lieben Dank!!
