This morning, I tried to find a dentist who is willing to fix my lost filling. The local dentist does not have an opening until January. Dentists around here are so hard to find! So far, I have not had any luck.
Heute morgen habe ich telefonisch versucht, einen Zahnarzt zu finden, der eine rausgefallene Füllung ersetzt. Der Zahnarzt im Ort hat erst im Januar dafür einen Termin. Es gibt hier kaum Zahnärzte, also muß ich weiter rumtelefonieren. Bisher hatte ich noch keinen Erfolg.
At around 10 o'clock, we had a video call with my father, mother, one of my sisters, and my brother-in-law. Jonathan and Veronika also joined us. It is my father's 86th birthday today. We had such a lovely time!
Und um 10 Uhr haben wir mit meinen Eltern, einer meiner Schwestern und meinem Schwager per Video telefoniert. Jonathan und Veronika waren auch dabei. Heute feiert mein Vater seinen 86. Geburtstag. Es war ein sehr schönes Gespräch.

This afternoon, I finally wrapped the girls' cut braids and sent them away as donation for children who have lost their hair due to cancer. We had quite the collection of braids.
Heute nachmittag habe ich endlich abgeschnittene Zöpfe der Mädchen auf die Reise an eine Organisation gebracht, die Perücken für Kinder macht, die durch Krebsbehandlungen ihre Haare verloren haben. Wir hatten eine ganz schöne Sammlung an Zöpfen.
