The Outsiders of Uskoken Castle was one of my favorite books growing up. I read it out loud to Jonathan; Charlotte, Miriam, and Veronika read it on their own, and now I am reading it together with Flora.

Hello Eva, Do you have the book you read as a child? And is it a movie or a series of episodes like a tv show? It's fun seeing what you enjoyed reading when young. (reposting as I'm not sure if my original comment went through).
ReplyDeleteI do have a copy here, but it must be one that belonged to one of my siblings. Mine looked different. It was at my parents' house, though. The movie was a TV show. There seems to be a newer movie out, but I loved the old episodes so much, that I do not really want to watch a newer version. Anyway, all my older girls loved this book!
DeleteYes, I wouldn't want to change my lovely memories of a favorite book or movie. I never did watch any of the newer Anne of Green Gables as I love the one with Megan Follows, Colleen Dewhurst and Richard Farnsworth so much.
DeleteAh, same here. It would ruin the first Anne of Green Gables movie. I watched it in Canada on TV when I was an exchange-student there.
