Peter and Veronika drove to Solana Beach and Fletcher Cove Beach this morning. They had perfect weather.

Flora and I did some cleaning, washed some sheets, and did some baking because Flora went to a birthday party. She baked scones for her friend Emma. All party guests went out for lunch, followed by some time at a roller skater rink, and then some cake at Emma's house.
Flora und ich haben geputzt, Bettwäsche gewaschen und auch gebacken, weil Flora zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen war. Sie hat für ihre Freundin Emma "Scones" gebacken. Die Geburtstagsgäste waren erst in einem Restaurant, dann sind sie Rollschuh gelaufen und am Ende gab es Kuchen bei Emma zu Hause.
While she was at the party, I did some more chores and yard work.
Während sie bei der Geburtstagsfeier war, habe ich weiter geputzt und dann im Garten gearbeitet.

ReplyDeleteIt is so lovely there. I do miss California sometimes. We had a wonderful time there, but I hated all the traffic and did not dare to drive. Yes, it was very quiet, but we kept busy with homeschooling and ballet. And yes, there was also German teaching. We survived!
