It was a foggy morning when we left to visit the Agricultural Fair.
Bei Nebel sind wir zur Landwirtschaftsausstellung aufgebrochen.
But then the fog cleared.
At the Genesee Country Village and Museum we watched most of the attractions, here sheep herding.
We always go and look at the chickens.
Wir gucken uns immer die Hühner an.
So many different kinds!
So viele verschiedene Sorten!

Wonderful photos Eva! We used to go to the agricultural fair near my sister in Connecticut. I miss it. I always loved seeing the vegetables all laid out too. Your pics of the hens are wonderful, as is the photo of the tailor and seamstresses. It's such a talent to sew the dresses, shirts and trousers they would wear! How fortunate that that the fog cleared and it was a sunny day. (Those brussels sprouts look especially good!)
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks so much, Dorina. I love those vegetables/fruit displays. There is also a bake/handwork display, but they were still judging those and we had to leave early, so we could not take a look. I wonder if the tailor and his helpers managed to finish their dress in those two days. No sewing-machines were involved! Peter bought a "stick" of brussels sprouts :).
DeleteI wonder too (about the tailor!) Funny about Peter buying a stick of the sprouts, because I was thinking how they looked so appetizing and that I would love to eat them!
DeleteWe ate some of them yesterday, and they are really yummy!
DeleteGood!
DeleteGenau. Und dann verzichte ich lieber.
DeleteKann ich gut nachvollziehen!
DeleteEben.
