Wir versuchen uns von einer langen, starken Erkältung zu erholen. Heute fühlen wir uns zum ersten Mal alle etwas besser, auch Jonathan und Veronika, die schon wieder in Washington bzw. Kalifornien sind.

Hello Eva. I'm sorry to hear you have all been sick. Greg is just getting better from a bad cold. He spent several days home from work. Chanda had it also . . and now I think I'm coming down with it. I hope it's not too bad for me as my sister and brother-in-law are arriving Thursday for a short visit. They haven't been here in ages and I don't want to mess it up with being sick.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a very strange cold that consists of non-stop sneezing and achiness, but no fever. I hope you will not get that one. We all had it, I think Jonathan and Veronika only in a rather mild form, but when we talked to Jonathan on his birthday, he had to keep walking while doing a video call with us because his nose was so bad. Did you have a nice time with Kathy and Warren over Christmas? I hope their visit to you will work out. Sending you lots of healing thoughts and prayers.
DeleteReally sorry to read that you’ve all been so unwell. Things must have been bad if Peter had to ask for an extension for grading papers - I read that remark on a previous post.

New York State is one of the states with the highest numbers of flu and other respiratory illnesses right now. I guess we joined the crowd. Peter finally finished all his grading. He is not ready for the next semester which starts tomorrow! And today he has to drive Charlotte to the airport. Miriam is staying for another week.
