Woyzeck

Charlotte and Miriam are helping out with the Woyzeck production on campus.  They do not have speaking roles, but they are part of the people on stage.  This was a last minute decision because the director sent around an e-mail that he needed more helpers, so Charlotte and Miriam offered their help and were gladly invited to participate.  So I do not see them very much in the afternoons: either they are dancing or are practicing in the play.  Right now they are getting fitted for costumes.  The performance is this coming weekend.   Oh, and guess what we will be reading in German these next days?!

Charlotte und Miriam helfen bei der College Aufführung von Woyzeck aus.  Sie müssen nicht sprechen, aber sind auf der Bühne anwesend.  Das war eine ganz plötzliche Entscheidung, weil der Regisseur eine Email an alle beim College geschickt und Helfer für die Aufführung gesucht hat.  Da haben sich Charlotte und Miriam dann gemeldet.  Sie sind mit Freuden aufgenommen worden.  Diese Woche sehe ich sie nachmittags dann nicht oft: entweder haben sie Ballett oder sie stehen hier auf der Schauspielbühne.  Heute abend haben sie Kostümanprobe.  Die Aufführung ist aber schon dieses Wochenende, so daß hier bald wieder normales Leben einkehrt.  Die nächsten Tage haben wir nun auch eine gute Idee für unsere neue deutsche Lektüre :).
