Look at what Charlotte brought back from NYC (I did not even get them all in one picture: these are only Flora's outfits)! This is like Christmas and utterly amazing. Charlotte came back with all these cute outfits for her sisters, a present from Dorina and her daughters, who have outgrown these. They are so pretty! And yes, the outfit with the mushrooms and the mushroom/sunflower combo fit perfectly! Flora looks adorable in them. Now it just has to get a tad warmer so that she can wear them. Charlotte hat ein ganzes Sortiment Kleider aus New York mitgebracht. Das war wie Weihnachten. Dorinas Töchter passen diese Kleider nicht mehr, aber für uns sind sie perfekt. Dazu gab es noch selbstgemachte und gekaufte Schokolade, die sehr lecker war. Hier und hier gibt es noch mehr Bilder von Charlotte in New York.

Die zwei Katzen sind einfach ein lustiger, schöner, niedlicher Anblick :) Wo schläft dann die neue Katze? Schön ist Charlotte wohlbehalten und sicher glücklich über so viele neue Eindrücke wieder bei euch.
ReplyDeleteDie neue Katze schläft oft unten auf dem Sofa oder Sesselschemel oder in Miriams oder Floras Bett. Ja, Charlotte hat die Reise zurück auch geschafft. Wir haben uns gefreut, sie wieder zu haben.

No, the ones for Veronika do not fit. It is hard to find the right style for her right now. So great you got some German chocolates! Julius just chased Kai up into Charlotte's room, under her bed and was standing guard in front of the bed. He has not accepted him at all. The tulip is done blooming now. We will plant the bulbs outside.
DeleteP.S. The Amelia and Eleanor book looks excellent! I need to look into that story . . I have an Eleanor bio I've been meaning to start reading ever since we watched the Ken Burns documentary about the Roosevelt family.

DeleteI'm sorry the dress didn't fit. Yes, sometimes it's hard to find the right clothes. In regard to the cats: Madeline often harasses Hermione. H will be resting quietly on the bed, not bothering anyone, and M will sneak up on her, hiss and chase her off. It always startles me and makes me upset. Their screeches are so loud!
ReplyDeleteOh, don't be sorry! After all, she could not try it on. We will keep it for Flora :). Yes, Julius can also get loud, but it is more a growl. Funny that Madeline chases Hermione and not the other way round.
