wieder Ostern werden."
For about a week now, we've been reading the story "Der Ostermond" from the book Das Jahreszeitenbuch. It explains when Easter is celebrated (on the Sunday after the first full moon that follows the spring equinox). It contains the little verse you can read above, repeated many times. We've been watching the moon faithfully now and the children are counting the days. Today we took a picture of the moon during the day. We've also been enjoying the stories, craft ideas, riddles, and more for Easter and spring in Vorhang auf!, a children's magazine from Germany.
Today we had lots of birds at our birdfeeder, including gold and purple finches.
Miriam learned to tell time today.
Heute hatten wir viele Vögel an unserem Futterhäuschen, u.a.
