A gigantic chocolate chip cookie for him, baked by his daughters.
Diesen großen Schokoladenkeks haben ihm seine Töchter gebacken.
And they also baked regular sized cookies.
Sie haben auch kleinere Kekse gebacken.

DeleteA lovely celebration! Happy Birthday Peter :) His card is very pretty and the cookies and cake are making me crave something sweet. It's late and I must go to sleep, I think I'll have a little yogurt with honey first that I bought from the cheese vendor at the green market today :D

DeleteWhen you eat something sweet before bed, you can call that a "Betthupferl" in German.
DeleteThe yogurt was amazing! I ate the whole large container in one week! Betthupferl . . that's what I like to do sometimes after late night computer/chore work: a treat and a book :)
DeleteNow you got all those good friendly bacteria. We also tend to get our "Betthupferls" when we work late. It is probably not the best idea for weight management, but sometimes you need a treat.
