I think we will try a different church each Sunday for now. It also gives a chance to get to know the area a bit. I think Miriam and Veronika like the book more. Kann man auch als Schnupperling mitmachen?herzhafthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12238035042854977346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-9910628392491158622015-01-29T22:47:53.751-05:002015-01-29T22:47:53.751-05:00It's nice that you are looking at different ch...It's nice that you are looking at different churches to find one that you're comfortable with. No, I guess a lot doesn't happen in "An Old-Fashioned Girl!" It's typical Alcott, but I like it. Maybe Veronika will enjoy it more. dorinalouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14997381262511104320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-92094223584705634422015-01-29T01:41:15.647-05:002015-01-29T01:41:15.647-05:00Yes, those are roses in our backyard. I don't remember so much from the book. I read it a long time ago. I just thought it was really full of suspense. Yes, the church on Sunday was large. The smaller chapel is on campus and is not a "proper church." There are no services in there. There is a larger chapel on campus, but it is not a Catholic one and they would not celebrate Mass there. So we tried a church in our area. Good luck with the reading. Charlotte is not enjoying "An Fashioned-Girl." She says nothing is happening in it. Veronika has started it, though, and likes it. Peter's retreat looks very nice :) How did Jonathan enjoy the discussion of Wuthering Heights? Did he read the whole book? I just reread it and found parts of it very disturbing. Much to talk about! I'm now reading War and Peace and Chanda and I are still making our way through Nicholas Nickleby :P Was it the larger church you attended Sunday, or the smaller chapel that you like? xoxo :)dorinalouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14997381262511104320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-28117106809367022952015-01-27T07:42:01.224-05:002015-01-27T07:42:01.224-05:00Wow, diese Bergbilder gefallen mir richtig gut!
