It is a German washing machine, which makes it hard to find a good serviceman for it, especially in our very rural area.

Evahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831448349166435125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-44371591700312459642010-10-12T23:31:14.225-04:002010-10-12T23:31:14.225-04:00Hello Dorina, I agree about the TVs. You couldn't eat breakfast without a TV -- having to listen to the most recent atrocities around the world. Our pediatrician, whom we really like, also has a screen in his office. He shows videos, but still . . .

We used to live in an apartment many years ago, which had a laundry room. Unfortunatedly, it was in a different part of the apartment complex. I had to go downstairs and outside before I could enter it. That was difficult, especially with two small children.

Yes, isn't "Dwarves and Dice" a fun game? All our children have liked it so far. The Mother Teresa book is really moving and beautiful --as most books by Demi. Do you know her?

Our washing machine won't get fixed until Tuesday or maybe even later. There will be more trips to the laundromat.Evahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831448349166435125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-69631163072948578142010-10-11T20:05:23.182-04:002010-10-11T20:05:23.182-04:00Laundry, it never ends. A very clever piece of mother organisation, making the whole trip an event right down to the tea party, learning materials and games. For the sake of necessity and convenience I hope your washing machine is fixed very soon.

Blessings to you all
Sybillehttp://www.buntblume.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-76476435179936526752010-10-11T01:17:24.848-04:002010-10-11T01:17:24.848-04:00I also have not been to a laundry for 18 years, bu...I also have not been to a laundry for 18 years, but do pass them in town, not very pleasant places. cheers Mariesofteartharthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14527736727793111902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-37164276062642221062010-10-11T00:13:58.777-04:002010-10-11T00:13:58.777-04:00hello eva, we have a laundry room for our apartmen...hello eva, we have a laundry room for our apartment complex which i really appreciate. i'm glad i don't have to go to the one several blocks away . . i wonder if they have a tv now? i find it rather disturbing and amusing (!) how tvs have sprung up in public places like weeds. we run into them everywhere in the city. the girls and i have grown accustomed to avoiding them, or ignoring them. it's difficult sometimes. the movement really pulls you in. (we also don't have a tv, though we occasionally watch a movie on the computer).

i love the mother teresa book, and the dwarves and dice. we've played with the latter, i'll have to look for the former! i'm glad your husband is home safe and sound. and i hope your washing machine gets fixed soon :)dorinalouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14997381262511104320noreply@blogger.com
