Right now, Sundays are catch up time for me (after a morning at church). I do hope to come back to those books and also share some time with each child about life, religion, growing up, etc. Many times they come to me in the evenings to talk about such topics (the older ones), and I'm glad we get to share like this. I hope I will always have their confidence.

I hope to be able to write more about our afternoons soon, but my husband has been away almost every night for a while now, not much time to sit down and organize my thoughts. I find it fascinating how we manage to do all we do-- your routine including your college teaching sounds like its working out well! I too enjoy when we can walk, slow down, and experience nature as part of transportation. So difficult to accomplish these days. I agree that the housework is challenging to have enough time for. I loved your Saturday cleaning post a little while back. I have been thinking how to incorporate individual cleaning time with children into our Saturdays (and weekdays for morning house chores). Also on Saturdays, I spend a little time with each of our daughters as a "date"-- reading a devotional together and coming of age related books. We find we each look forward to that one on one time!Deacon Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01826386402925060912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287923374500556606.post-89416557000313342762013-09-20T22:46:27.679-04:002013-09-20T22:46:27.679-04:00Yes, I'm glad we can walk home. But I do have to fine tune our schedule still so I also get my housework done.

Isn't that a great puffball? I have never ever seen anyone that big.
