Flora is enjoying the audio book of Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. We have a professional recording from the library, but you can find free recordings online, for example here. I also read this book to Jonathan and Charlotte when they were little. And there is a free old movie of the book on YouTube here, but it is quite different from the book.
This was my Mom's favorite book when growing up and was a part of my childhood also. I enjoyed reading it to the girls. I'll have to check out the youtube movie.
ReplyDeletePeter's grandmother also loves this book! I thought it was a bit much, the language and what these children did, but it must be very appealing to Flora's age.
