But I have not...It was nice to be in a city again. But I have not received it yet, I only applied for one :). They sent it to NYC. NYC sends the application to Germany. It takes eight weeks to get it printed in Germany. The German passports are biometric passports and need a special printing press to make them. They have your fingerprints in a chip in them. So once it gets printed in Germany, they mail it to NYC and from there to me. Now we have to get passports for all children. That will be easier because we are only doing the American ones this time. The German ones would be as complicated as mine and that is why we will only do the American ones right now. We used to get both kinds for the children, but since they switched to the biometric ones, we do not do both anymore.
