Modern Dance and Train/Moderner Tanz und Zug

Another long day, I am sitting here and am making up my first exam for my German 101 students.  This morning we went to early Mass to commemorate the Korean martyrs.  Then there was
homeschooling in the morning, Charlotte's music history class during lunch time, and driving to ballet at 3:00 p.m. with friends while Flora and I stayed home.  She played and I taught my German 103 student here at home until 4:15 p.m.  Then Flora and I drove to pick up Miriam and Veronika, who only dance for 90 minutes.  During that time, Jonathan, Charlotte, and their friends work in the library.  Flora and I like to listen to fables on CD in the car during those 35 minutes it takes to get to the studio.  We also saw a long train!

While waiting for Veronika and Miriam to get ready to go home with us, we got a glimpse of the Modern Dance class, Charlotte is taking before her ballet class starts.

We briefly visited the gardens of the Catholic Church.

Children of Fatima: Flora likes this apparition of Mary especially.

We stopped at the library on the way back to pick up some (27) books.  Peter had made supper for us, but was already back on campus where he teaches until 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, the same time, Jonathan and Charlotte come home from their dance classes.

Charlotte

After dinner, Miriam watched a video about animals in Argentina.  She is studying some South American countries this year, Argentina is one of them.  She is particularly interested in that country because of her German pen-pal from there.

Jonathan did his chemistry homework until now.   As I said before, I am still working on my German exam.  It will be another late night for me.

    1. No, I still would like to catch up on sleep, but that only works on Sundays a bit.

Miriam found that pen pal through a German children's magazine. Most of the children go to a Waldorf school. The girl in Argentina does so too. The magazine has asked Miriam to write an article for them! She has to have it done by the end of this month.

I think our rhythm is starting to work, just the evenings are not the way I would like them. Okay, time to start our lessons :).

    2. Ballet classes get out too late and make the evenings too long? That's how it always was for us. I like the summer time when we can have earlier dinners.

I'd be interested in looking at the German children's magazine. Could you send me a link?

Hope you get caught up on sleep tomorrow :)

    3. Yes, and then it is hard to get up in the morning, especially when your chemistry class starts at 7:45 a.m.

The magazine is called Vorhang Auf! and is so pretty!

Still not caught up on sleep, but Peter and I took a long nap after church on Sunday.
